The foundation was built on a brilliant 220-run partnership between Atharva Prasad (104) and William Burridge (157), two outstanding innings that set the platform for a mammoth total.

The momentum didn’t stop there. Natim Hassam came in and blazed 52* off just 30 balls to put the finishing touches on a dominant display, and backed it up with 5 - 49 with the ball.

Plenty of other contributions helped get us over the line too. A sharp run out from Arran Duguid, two wickets in two balls from Adi Hedge including Max Harris 1st ball, and Jack Dry getting off the mark with his first wicket.

379-4 in 50 overs is our highest ever league score by the 1stXI and the 220 for the 2nd wicket between Will Burridge and Atharva Prasad beat the previous highest of 176 by Dhaval Narotam and Joel Curtis v Ealing in 2022.

The 220 partnership is our highest ever for all 1st XI league cricket in the MCCL.
